First time having a “double”. It was delicious and fresh. Mac and cheese with jerk chicken was also excellent. Came with rice and coleslaw. The staff was very friendly and welcome despite showing up close to closing. Great value. I see why this restaurant has such a high rating.

Wanted some island food for a date with another couple. The husband had lived in Jamaica for a few years and loved the food but hadn't had it in a while. I got the Cajun catfish, the wives ordered the jerk chicken and he split the plates between BBQ and Jerk. I also had oxtail soup and my friend had goat curry. Service was amazing from the owner. There to fill the water, crack a joke, and generally ensure we had a great time. I tipped well and then noticed the ginger beer in the fridge, which was great, and asked to buy one after paying for the meal. He was an amazing gracious host so I got a second one for my friend. He also offered them a third piece of jerk chicken which they took and thoroughly enjoyed the next day. Definitely a go to place for Caribbean cuisine. Only drawback was the boisterous teenage boys eating near us. There is only maybe seating for 20-25 people in the restaurant. Parking was easy on the street out front or one of the many municipal lots in downtown Richmond Hill.

Pretty good Jerk chicken and reasonably priced. Chicken was cooked perfectly and had good flavour. Rice was a bit overcooked but also had good flavour. Coleslaw was good and they even gave me two portions!

First time here. Had small curried goat rice platter. Beautiful flavour. Decent portion and hot sauce burnt my white boy lips off. Highly recommend. Wished I’d ordered the large.

My family and I always frequent the Richmond Hill location, so of course we had to visit the North York one! We went last night and ordered two curried goat roties and a jerk chicken rice entree. The food, as expected, was PHENOMENAL. Spiced to perfection, tender meat, and immense flavours. But what makes this resturatant so amazing is the amazing service from the family that owns it. They make you feel like you are part of their family as well. The only Caribbean restaurant I will EVER recommend is Aneal's.

We went to the Steeles location and had a fantastic experience. The food had so much flavor and gave a homemade feel. The doubles were the best we have ever had. There is so much care in the service and quality of the food. Portion sizes were a bargain. The hot sauce was phenomenal, with spice and with flavor. We will stop here whenever we are in the area without hesitation—some of the best Caribbean food we have had, hands down.

Best Caribbean Restaurant in GTA! Have tried pretty much every Chicken dish on the menu, the Curry Chicken Roti and Jerk Chicken with Rice and Peas are my favourite. Got to try their Mac and Cheese yesterday with my absolute favourite Jerk Chicken and trust me when I say the best Mac and cheese I have ever had. It was so flavourful and melted in mouth. The new location is just amazing, very clean and pretty to hang out with friends or to have memorable times with loved ones. The owners are very friendly and welcoming (rare to find that in other restaurants in GTA). January 20th 2023 Omg!! Tried their doubles today and these are the best doubles I have ever had. The green cucumber chutney is amazing. The puri (they call bara) is fluffy and soft. Never had doubles like these. Their hot sauce is to die for. Well, if you want authentic and amazing Caribbean food Aneal’s taste of the islands is the place.

Same great taste and service as the original location, but with one really good addition to the menu. The doubles were served a bit differently, but in a manageable fashion that allowed more fillings to be added on, and kept on the bara, instead of on the plate. With the nearby bus stop, this is sure to have a lot of drop in customers, that can get the roti to go. The dine in area is neat and clean and could be a good after work spot.
